Celebrating 25 Years of Dance, Growth, and Ohana

Since opening our doors in 2001, Gainesville Dance Center has grown into a welcoming home for dancers and families throughout Northern Virginia. With studios in Gainesville and Haymarket, generations of students have discovered their passion for dance, developed confidence, taken the stage, and created lifelong memories.

At GDC, we are more than a dance studio - we are an Ohana. Every dancer is seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are, both on and off the dance floor. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where students can build strong technique, discipline, creativity, and a lasting love of dance.

We offer recreational and competitive dance classes for children and teens, along with meaningful performance opportunities that allow every dancer to grow and shine. Over the years, families have become part of our community, friendships have developed into lifelong bonds, and dancers have carried the lessons learned at GDC far beyond the studio.

We are incredibly proud of the community we have built and grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey. Here’s to 25 seasons - and many more to come.
